Dave is Founder and Pack Leader of Piper’s Pack.
What started out with work experience with police dogs over 20 years ago led to Dave always wanting to find a career with dogs.
However, it wasn’t until summer of 2021, after 15 years in the cooperate world, Dave took the jump to make that dream a reality. So Piper’s Pack was formed.
Dave created Piper’s Pack so owners could get the very best out of their dogs. To help owners truly have happy healthy dogs.
Dave specialises in foundational obedience so owners can enjoy well balanced dogs that they can take anywhere. That is why he created his Foundational training course (along with its more advanced levels) to help owners and their dogs truly fulfil their potential.
Dave also offers 1:1 service specialising in dog reactivity, separation anxiety as well as helping owners who are just starting out with their puppies.
Dave owns two dogs Finley who is 8 (labradoodle) and Buddy who is 4 (cockapoo). Both get to work with Dave as well as helping clients with reactive dogs to our dog classes - they are there every step of the way.
Dave is member of the Will Atherton Academy as he continues to train and improve his own knowledge and skills.

Lin - German Shepherd
Just completed level 1 with Dave and can't recommend this man enough. I've gone from having a German shepherd that pulled me round like a rag doll to a dog I can more often than not control on his walks. He doesn't just tell you to do something..he explains why and gives you insight into why you are doing it... Dave is a miracle worker as I didn't think my walks would ever be enjoyable. If you are looking for results and you are willing to put in the work too, I would give him a call

If you’d like your dog to do something different, he can show you how to achieve it. From basic tips to the more extreme. We’ve a nine month old puppy as evidence who will sit at the bifolds waiting to be told he can come outside. I never thought that would be possible when we started. You’re a credit to the profession
Lee - Ridgeback
Our high maintenance 1 year old Ridgeback Koba has just passed level 1 obedience with Dave. He now walks much calmer on the lead and pays better attention.
We’ve also had some 1 on 1 training with Dave at home and Koba is much better when we have visitors.
